Not Dean in Edmonton, but Clarence Weatherby in Prince George, B.C. He used to be with Armco, but now has a separate company.

Bumblbee Custom Machining

He has built 2 1911's for me. His prices are very reasonable. Like every gunsmith I have dealt with, you will need to keep on top of him for delivery time.

Dean Fraser I have used him for some simple work on my SVI  he was okay. Some work on my other gun - not so good. He was fine on meetng committed dates. But I would be a little reluctant to go back - it would depend on what I needed done.
If your plan isn't working, change the plan not the goal

IPSC Alberta's very own Mark McAdam did some marvelous work on my 2011 and 1911 and is currently working on yet another one of my 1911s.  I highly recommend him.

Yes, as above, Mark has done some work on my 1911, he did a VERY nice trigger job. Also, he has taken the time to try and rectify things for me in the middle of a match, and, at the end of a match when we are all hot, dusty, and tired, and before beer time!

So Thats my fault that i wasn't super clear in what I needed to have done!

I'm looking to have a beavertail installed and it needs machined and refinished to make it happen!

Who's capable of that??

Check "Victory Precision Customs" in the Commercial vendor area of the website for his details.
Is this thing on?
